From The Petersen Automotive Museum: Bruce Meyer to be Honored at Concours d'Elegance of America
Bruce Meyer, the quintessential “car guy,” was recently named Enthusiast of the Year by the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s in Michigan. The event’s board members are recognizing Bruce for his decades of automotive enthusiasm, which include being a “founding father” of the Petersen Automotive Museum.

The Concours d'Elegance of America Board of Directors has announced the 2015 Enthusiast of the Year, and Car Selection Chairman Brian Joseph has released the car classes for the upcoming show.

Detroit, Michigan (July 20, 2015) –The Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s announced today that Chevrolet will be a Signature Partner at their 2015 Concours to be held on Sunday July 26th.
Celebrating over 100 years of automotive excellence, Chevrolet has created hundreds of memorable cars and trucks that are highly sought after by collectors and classic car enthusiasts. Vehicles like the 1932 Sport Roadster, 1948 Pickup, 1953 Corvette, 1957 Bel Air and the 1969 Camaro have become cultural icons in our automotive heritage. The all-new Corvette C7 is well on its way to becoming another memorable car in Chevy’s stable.
This year Chevy will present a selection of classic, new and performance cars to the public.

Last year, I made my first visit to the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John's and was surprised and delighted. Formerly known as the Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance and held at Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester, Michigan, the concours moved to its new location — the Inn at St. John's in Plymouth, Michigan — in 2011.
